{ Millican Family ~ 3/5/2012 }

Who knew four years ago a brief introduction would develop into a strong friendship. Micah and Laurie came on staff at our church, along with Micah’s brother, Nathan and his wife, Lauren.  The three of us became the “Scrappy Ladies and a baby”. Our baby mascot was Daniel.  We would scrapbook every week and when I went back to work part time, we scrapped on Wednesdays. It was our time together. I have a craft room, with enough room for all of us. We would laugh & laugh and scrap & scrap. Some of us scrapped pages faster that others!  I could go on and on about our girly crafty time!
 But life twisted about and my friends moved out of state. But as God would design, we have remained friends. Laurie and her family moved to Alabama…within driving distance for me.  Lauren moved to Indiana..a little too far to drive.  We planned several road trips to scrap and visit.  I have so many pictures of my car loaded down! And recently, Laurie and her family moved to Atlanta…an even closer drive for me.  Last weekend, I took off north on Highway 75 to visit my friend. I packed my car with scrap booking stuff and sewing stuff! It was such a fun time, girlfriend laughs, kiddos smiles and making memories.
It was a privilege to take their family photos. We scoped out the area a few days before. We thought it might be easier to pre-select our photo spots, especially with a 4 year old and a 2 year old.  We picked our spots, picked Micah up from work early and off we go. Even though we had the spots picked out, we did not plan on; the sun shining so bright at 4pm or the boys running around! Silly us! But after an hour, we got many shots but great shots. Truly, beautiful people, a beautiful friendship and beautiful photos. So, allow me to show off my sweet friend and her gorgeous family!!
